ArtC has announced that its much anticipated documentary, ‘Showtime!: The Story of Walter Webster & The Off Broad Street Players’ will launch the CUT International Short Film Festival at 7 pm on Friday, September 22. It will be followed by the festivals’ student films.
ArtC is excited about its latest documentary about founder and artistic director Walter Webster and the phenomenal Off Broad Street Players (OBSP). They will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary this fall and they have just produced their 200th play/musical with Sweeney Todd.
The documentary will capture the magic of the OBSP thru interviews of many of its key players, archival photos, behind-the-scenes footage and of course video of several of their iconic performances.
